Pressure Seal Check Valve are designed in accordance with BS1868 and ASME B16.34 for service of high temperature and high pressure and are widely used in fossil fuel power plant. Usmani Valves spring loaded disc check valves - non return valve feature a wafer type, compact and rugged design cast carbon steel (astm a 216 gr. Wcb) or stainless steel (astm a 351 gr. Cf8/cf8m/cf3/cf3m/ss304/ss316/ss304l/ss316l) construction and are suitable for any process liquid, air, gas, steam etc.

The single disc check valve (wafer type single disc check valve) consists of four main components: the body, a disc, a star guide and a spring. The disc check valves are opened by the pressure of fluid and closed through compression spring as soon as flow stops thus preventing reverse flow.

The design of wafer design, sandwich type, flangeless single disc spring loaded check valves allows them to be installed between any flanges of different standard and in any position; including vertical pipelines where the fluid flows downwards.
