High Performance Butterfly Valve is a valve which are used for isolating or regulating the flow of liquid. Butterfly Valve is a metal disc which are mounted on a spindle. Mechanism of Butterfly Valve is nearly similar to Ball Valve. When the valves are closed, the disc turns so that it completely blocks off the passageway. When the valve open, the disc is rotated on a quarter turn so it allows smoothly passage. Butterfly Valve are usually used in case of quick shut off. Butterfly valves are usually lower in cost & lighter in weight than other valve.
Butterfly valves are many types which are used for different pressures and different application. Like Butterfly valve are used in case of lowest pressure rating in case of flexible rubber But high performance butterfly valve, are used in case of higher pressure system. Tricentric disc butterfly valve are usually used in case of high pressure systems which makes its use of a metal seat and is able to withstand a greater amount of pressure.
